so it's sunday- january 2. i clearly knew that my flight was on january 5, but in my head, january 5 was a thursday. it's CLEARLY not, meaning i now have 3 days, not 4, to get my life together, and in two suitcases, plus a carry on. GREAT. also, just realized that my return flight was somehow booked for june 18 instead of may 18? it's getting fixed, don't wory. clearly, i am ready to go abroad.
on the bright side, i do hopefully have all of my flights and hostels booked for the 9-10 days i will be traveling before classes. my friend danielle and i will be travelling to 5 different cities in 4 different countries, so it will definitely crazy! we're going to basel (switzerland), rome, geneva (switzerland), budapest (hungary), and paris, before heading back to copenhagen the day before orientation and everything.
i'll be in europe from january 6 until may 19, and besides what i just mentioned, i have a weekend bike trip to bornholm (an island in denmark) and a week in the czech republic planned through my program, as well as 6 days in london with my core class, children in a multicultural context. i definitely want to do a lot of traveling, and make the most out of my semester in europe, since i've never been before. i also have family in frankfurt, and i definitely want to spend some time with them.
more soon, probably not until i'm actually in denmark or europe somewhere. happy new years, everyone :)
